13 MARCH 2008: A Couple of Quick Hits

  • Dawn Wells, "Mary Ann" of Gilligan's Island fame, was arrested for posession of marijuana. Well... At least we now know why those coconut pies were so addictive.

  • Milk-Bone (r) dog treats celebrate their 100th Anniversary this year. Unfortunately, the press release they sent out had a suspect typo and an unitentional double meaning. The title of the emailed release was as follows:
MILK-BONER, AMERICA'S FAVORITE DOG SNACK, DONATES MORE THAN 40,000 POUNDS OF PRODUCT TO FEED THE CHILDREN IN CELEBRATION OF ITS 100TH ANNIVERSARY
I can't wait to see how this will affect the next commercial shoot...

  • I could make lots of comments about Eliot Spitzer and Geraldine Ferraro, but both would be too easy. I will say that it's interesting to see just how many of Hillary's supporters are of such great character. And they'd go so far as to bend over backwards for her - which apparently cost about $4,300.

    01 MARCH 2008: What I'm...

  • Reading: The Week Magazine. Still catching up...

  • Watching: Formula One Racing. It's back!

  • Listening: Genesis, We Can't Dance. From No Son of Mine to Driving the Last Spike, an amazing album. Continues to prove the theory that acts that stay together for over ten years generally release their best album as their last.
